As perhaps the only venture of its kind in Honduras and one of the few in Central America, Costa Norte Records is an independent record label, committed to the production of quality material from some of Honduras and Central America's best-known artists.

After a few years of producing many artist in Italy, Honduran-Italian Producer Max Urso, moved to Honduras and founded Costa Norte Records. Under the strong belief that musically, this part of the world deserves more attention, the label started an eclectic catalogue and management headlined by Honduras's best-known World Music Artist Guillermo Anderson and Honduran rock sensation Khaoticos.

Almost immediately, Costa Norte also released "Forjado En Rocka" by Honduran rockers "Khaos", one of Central America's Rock en Español Pioneers. Also under Costa Norte is "Planeta Sol" a CD by promising "Ethnic Rock" band "EL SOL CARACOL",  "Honduras rocks!" and "Honduras rocks! II" a compilation that includes  some of the most popular local rock bands, a great addition to its catalogue and roster.

Costa Norte and its talented production and writing staff have been commissioned sound tracks and compositions for important institutions and organizations such as UNESCO, JUBILEE 2000 ORG., and others.
